Actually, they again didn’t show up for the impeachment vote. Because impeachment requires a 2/3 supermajority, which is 200 seats, to pass. And the votes are anonymous. So if they did show up, a few of their Members might have anonymously voted in support of impeachment and caused it to pass. So party leaders instructed all their Members to abstain by leaving the building.
