  • All new white water facility in Redlands near Old Cleveland Road (couldn’t figure out where)
  • Upgraded rowing facility at Queensland State Rowing Centre located on Wyaralong Dam (West of Beaudesert)
  • Upgraded Sunny Coast Stadium for Football (the proper kind)
  • Upgraded stadium in Cairns for Football
  • Upgraded boxing facility at the Uni Sunshine Coast campus at Petrie
  • New indoor sports facility at Kawana
  • Mt Bike trails between Nambour and Bli Bli

    Have they announced anything yet about the routes that’ll be used for the Triathlon, Marathon, and the (cycling) Road Race? I know the Triathlon will be on the Gold Coast (understandable, though I’d have preferred Sunshine Coast like Noosa or Mooloolaba), but I don’t know anything about the others.
