He doesn’t live in a society
This is the proper medium for theory right here.
Having never played Animal Crossing: what’s the official Hexbear stance on Tom Nook? 'Cause I heard he’s the landlord or something.
(Also, it’s funny how AC could mean Animal Crossing, Assassin’s Creed, Armored Core, or Ace Combat)
Clearly, the map is to scale- big pits and dirt piles included.
I like it a lot just because it’s the only place around me that does that style of pizza, with such a thin crust and all. I just load mine with tons of garlic and smile gleefully.
I love Master and Commander for all the same reasons. It’s just such a well put-together film.
Hollywood tends to have an issue with over-aging some of the characters in historical war films and such. Like, a lot of actors in World War II movies will be mid-20’s at the earliest, when in reality a lot of troops were only 17 or 18. The guys storming Normandy should look barely older than your local high schoolers. I appreciate Master and Commander for being one of the few historical military films that has a solid cast of child actors and uses them well. Really adds a lot, especially since the movie is trying to show such a grounded portrayal of British naval life.
Finally banned from r/politics for “incivility” let’s gooooo
It’s only for a day, but I told the mods I have no intention of ever being civil to genocide supporters and to do me a favor and ban me permanently. One step closer to my goal of leaving for good
Libs are all about “personal responsibility” and “consequences for your actions” but then get upset when I explain the consequences for being a Nazi
You know, I really just need to set up a hotkey that automatically posts every time I see one of these
I’m convinced this is going to be some sort of horror movie scenario where I walk into the voting place and play out the exact same events as 2020.
The same people say the same things to me, and I respond with familiar words. Déjà vu intensifies as I check my calendar. It is 2024, right? No, it’s 2020. Wait, 2016?
My mind races.
“Vote for Biden to save America!” Libs on the left and right shout. I begin to run.
“Do you want Trump to win?” they jeer. I stumble, but regain my footing.
“Vote blue,” I hear. “Vote blue, vote blue, VOTE BLUE!” It’s a chant at this point. A cult-like choir that fills the recesses of my brain. I make it to the double doors and push them open.
Biden is there.
He smiles. “None of this Malarky, Jack,” he says, pressing a syringe to my neck. My consciousness begins to fade. The last thing I feel is some teenage staffer sticking an “I Voted!” sticker to my shirt as the world fades to darkness.
Currently struggling to get any of my meds for my very real diagnosed issues. I wish these people a very swift end.
No idea why but for a split second I thought Sacha Baron Cohen in that picture was Jordan Peterson
I’ve heard great things. Trailers were fire, too.
Such a heavy topic, but one I want to learn a lot more about. There still aren’t enough movies that go into dispelling a lot of the mythos around the intricacies of settler colonialism and how the U.S. brutalized entire nations of people
Antiquity chads stay winning over High Middle Ages fanboys
Sorry sweetie the Empire only has enough for one proxy war
Hexbear has emoji teams across all timelines to ensure maximum coverage
That sucks comrade. Wishing you both the best
The new Assassin’s Creed game is getting 7/10’s from critics, which is industry-speak for “the same tired garbage yet again despite our promises to make the game good this time”. Good thing I don’t buy games from Ubisoft anyway, but I used to be a fan of the franchise and it’s infuriating that they let such an interesting series go to waste
I will always uphold Byleth-Edelgardist thought
