Yes, because this circus was never intended to function with “factional” (read: party) politics, and we’ve spent the past 250 years trying to back-fill those cracks. The country was founded on a document that leaned on the premise that the US ruling class was de facto one big political party with aligned interests, but this assumption immediately falls apart as soon as the country needs to start actually internally developing and different interest groups reveal themselves. Even if you go all the way back to the beginning our elections are a spectacle and clown show, trying to ape participation at all levels of the republic (All levels being all the white propertied men) while making sure the levers of power are just out of reach of actual democratic accountability.

Lawrence E. King Jr. ran Franklin Community Federal Credit Union in Omaha Nebraska, which was one of those banks used to fund off-the-books operations for the intelligence agencies. There was a huge scandal about embezzlement and child trafficking out of that bank, a few investigating parties got “suicided” but eventually the scandal blew up and had to be investigated in an official capacity. Basically they called the trafficking a “hoax” and arrested everybody for embezzlement. To this day I think it’s the official government position that it was a “hoax.” I can’t find the info on it atm, but I distinctly remember Southern Air Transport being a part of the trafficking scandal. (CIA front company probably most known for Iran Contra, but also has ties to Leslie Wexner an Epstein associate.)
