Cloudflare is not an ISP and doesn’t haven’t the same relationship to consumers as an ISP. This is quite the stretch.
There are major issues with their market capture and role but it’s a very different problem than net neutrality/ISP’s acting as monopolies.
Yeah that and the NEL during Covid were, legally/strategically speaking, very poor decisions.

I genuinely like the idea of the consensus engine but it kind of glosses over how we determine what is a fact and how we determine who is an expert and why.
All one has to do is look at the last 10 years of increased skepticism towards experts and expert fields yo see that there is simply no simple way to validate these people and opinions (or factual claims!) in a way that will make people trust them. In fact formal systems seem to be under harsh scrutiny than your simple Joe Blow on YouTube these days.

Critical Role may not be billionaires but they are proof you can make a fuck ton of money without being shitty. Yes it’s one example but your language was pretty absolute.
Thanks for this
Dude ffs no I proposed the absurd stance you’re defending first and it’s clear cut.
The US has laws nationwide that make it illegal to drunk drive. It is a ban. Should we have said ban or not?
Answer the question or don’t bother responding. Yes or no. Anything less and I’m not reading or responding. Stop the bullshit dancing.
Just answer the question it’s a simple yes/no
Just so we’re clear: are you saying we should legalize drinking and driving? Yes or no?
This is a stretch.
They could’ve withheld the content if I didn’t pay. They let me have it on their site delivered from their servers. I didn’t walk out with stolen goods.
