  • A couple of years ago, I started two other Instagram accounts besides my personal one. I needed to organize and have more control of what content I want to see at times I choose. One was mostly for combat sports, other sports, and fitness. The second one was just food.

The first one, right off the bat showed me girls with OnlyFan accounts in the discovery page. Then after a few days, they begin showing me right wing content, and alpha male garbage.

The second one, the food account, showed alternative holistic solutions. Stuff like showing me 10 different accounts of people suggesting I consume raw milk. They started sending me a mix of people who just eat meat and vegans.

It’s really wild what these companies show you to complete your profile.

  • Since we figured out what the features of this phone is, I think this phone is a step in the right direction. Repairability is good. Headphone jack is good. Price is really good. 3 years of OS updates is not.

Starting from the trend from last year, I hope more manufacturers start giving 5-7 years of updates, even on mid range phones. Hopefully these companies start to realize less OS updates doesn’t mean more phone sales for them but it means more consumers avoid their products.

  • The HMD Fusion product page makes no mention of it but several places on the internet says there is one.

Look at the first image in this article. Nokiamob.net

Actually every article I found before November, their version has a headphone jack.

    Weird.

Edit: JerryRigEverything got the phone. It looks like his model has the headphone jack. The video was published on December 28, 2024.

Also the HMD Youtube account has a video for this and the exploded view of the phone has a gap in there. Video was from 4 months ago.

I think GSMArena is wrong and HMD forgot to add it to their product description.

  • Traffic is a travel restriction.

According to Google Maps during rush hour a car can take 24 minutes to 55 minutes, with an average of 45 minutes to go from Battery Park to Central Park.

It takes less than 2 hours walking from Battery Park to Central Park. Note, this is a slow walk.

Biking takes less than 36 minutes for the same distance. Note, this is for a leisure bike ride.

Cars are also a major air, and noise polluter. On top of that cars also kill and injure people.

If you think about it, cars restrict travel of people in Manhattan than anyone else.
