yooo mobile port of Balatro would be dope. I’ve tried mobile version of Slay the Spire and it’s perfect for killing time when I don’t have access to my PC
I’ve literally been thinking, man I wish I could play this on my phone everywhere.
The addiction is real
This game might sell me on a foldable phone too.
I can’t wait… these are the sorts of games that are made for portable play… I don’t want to play Zelda and pause the game mid-swing, I want this, backpack battles, etc.
Steam link works fairly well with it.
Yeah. Kinda. Sometimes if you press slightly in the wrong place you get the cursor instead, which can easily lead to misclicks. But it’s definitely playable! A mobile port would be really dope though
Yeah, trackpad works better than direct cursor
This year has been so strange, with seemingly a new hype title every two weeks or so. I wonder what lead to this…
I know there’s maybe a 5% chance of it happening soon, but I’d kill for this to hit before I go on vacation in July. Balatro would be outstanding to play on my iPad during a long flight.
There is a way to play it. And it works very well.
Switch emulator
You might see where I’m going with this. Now, I don’t know if there are any for iPads, but you can download some for Android. Personally I use SuYu.
Switch rom
You will need a .nsp file of the game + .nsp file of any updates you want to include. You can get this file from your nintendo switch (or you know, the high seas) and then import it to the emulator. For me, it runs at about 15 fps on a 4 year old Samsung phone (no Snapdragon), which is playable.
The game registers screen taps very well and you won’t have any problem with playing it.
Get a Deck.
Weirdest comment ever. Devs even confirmed a mobile port, you tell this person to buy a new expensive device instead. What?
Have they confirmed it comming before July?
A mobile port? Well RIP my productivity.
Wowzers!
The addiction is very real. We are playing it daily, with 120 hours and now going into the challenges.
It’s a lot of fun. Got me to get a stylus to use for card games on my Steam Deck.
Boss blinds that hard counter you late in the game feel pretty dang bad, but that’s my only big complaint thus far.
I initially hated this but it does incentivize deck versatility. I stopped putting my eggs in one basket and I stopped losing so much.
