Eh, the CCDH report was massively flawed from the get go, and it’s hard to think they didn’t know that while still releasing it to try and paint twitter as having increased “hate speech” and trying to push advertisers away.
Their methodology for the data collection in the report is a complete joke. It doesn’t hold up to even the slightest scrutiny.

That’s not a data leak. Twitter said that the CCDH used a brandwatch customers login detail to brandwatch and got data from there. That’s not a Twitter problem, that’s a Brandwatch problem. Someone from brandwatch likely gave people at the CCDH their login so they could do this.
Someone from brandwatch gonna be fired over this, that’s for sure.
