87 keys, volume knob, hot-swappable PCB, Dual Super Buttons (two massive programmable A and B buttons) and it looks amazing.

Why isn’t there a numpad? That’s pretty disappointing, honestly… I play a lot of games that make use of that.

I also find entering numbers on a numpad to be much easier and feel more natural, probably because of growing up with calculators. They definitely have a place on modern keyboards.

Yeah, last year I finally dipped my toes in mechanical keyboarding and my 2 requirements were to have a numpad and some media keys for volume and play/pause. It was actually kinda a nightmare to find.

I eventually found a red dragon keyboard that I’m fairly happy with. I bought some custom key caps because the ones that it came with were Ugly.

It has a volume scroll wheel thing that’s pretty cool. Some macro programming stuff that idk what anyone really needs.

10-keyless keyboards are (kinda unfortunately IMO) popular with the custom keyboard crowd. I’m actually a little surprised that it’s not available in an even smaller form-factor.

Really, this would have been an instant buy from me if it had a numpad. Kinda doesn’t make sense that a retro themed keyboard wouldn’t have it! I love everything about the design otherwise.

Shouldn’t this be a membrane keyboard instead of mechanical to REALLY get that NES feel?

Tiny nitpick: why abbreviate some keys but not others?

    INSERT DELETE

    PGUP PGDN

Why not either INS | DEL or something like

    PAGE UP

    PAGE DOWN

Pretty cool looking, but I’d need to know how sturdy it felt and what the keys were like before buying it. As a novelty alone I don’t think it is worth it, but if it is also a good keyboard then I might even get one.

If they want to make a retro-styled keyboard they should make one without the “Windows” and “Menu” keys so that you can play Commander Keen and Duke Nukum the way they were meant to be played.
