Hi all, here’s my first ever mechanical board for work! Very excited to wave goodbye to the current horrendous membrane keyboard that sits in my office. I’m already planning to swap the linear Reds for a silent tactile, currently looking at the Durock Shrimps - given how much this already cost me, that will wait a bit…

Thanks! A bit more fun than blanks, the other alternative I was looking for as I type Colemak

Very nice. I was tempted by the Q10 recently, how are you finding the alice layout to type on?

I’m still adapting to it, but as one who is also still learned touch typing, the separation of the two halves helps to build confidence with the finger positioning. I’m liking it a lot!

I thought I’d chime in as well as someone who owns multiple Alice style boards. I personally love the layout, but functionally and aesthetically. In my experience it’s not too hard to adjust to the Alice layout from a normal staggered layout. I can swap between both layouts really easily.
