In a recent military attack in the Gaza Strip, Israel’s forces targeted the Naser Pediatric Hospital in Khan Yunis, marking a grim turn in the ongoing conflict. The incident resulted in the tragic death of a child already wounded and further escalated the situation as several missiles failed to detonate upon impact, posing a significant threat to patients and staff at the medical facility.

Here’s more on the 12 year old that was murdered. Her family had been killed by the IDF a couple days ago and she had to have her leg amputated. She was still somehow optimistic and hoping to get a prosthetic leg in the future to be able to walk again and be a doctor when she grew up to treat other children like her.

Poor Dunia, what an absolute tragedy. And to think so many other kids have already been killed and likely many more to come. It tears the soul apart.

I love the implication that Gaza is fighting back harder when all that’s happening is that Israel ramped up their genocide. That’s why the “war” framing is so dishonest and fucking evil, it puts the two parties on an equal footing when it’s one overwhelmingly oppressing the other.
