Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán last week blocked some $54 billion in proposed funding for Kyiv.

EU nations may proceed without Hungary by establishing a new fund outside of the common EU budget that does not require Budapest’s signoff.

    Luckily EU is not something like USA where a bunch of politicians can stop everything: here nations can happily ignore hungary and do the fuck they want.

      Unfortunately Orban can … and he was just paid off (10 billion euros) to leave the room when they voted to start accession talks with ukraine

      This is a defect within the EU because the creators of the EU actually thought that all their countries would stay democratic …

    The solution is to take away Hungary’s voting right in the EU. That sucks, but it is desperately necessary not just due to Russia, but also China. Without EU funds Orban has a massive problem.
