Lmao, how can someone read this, realize how they are being mocked, and not have a life changing epiphany.
Well for this lady it probably cause she’s politician, realizes it’s bullshit, and says it anyways for money/votes.
Man i am pretty glad I don’t live in Rome cerca 250CE
Is this a real tweet?
It’s almost hard to believe that someone with these would want to point out to the world that this guy is correct.
Is this a real tweet?
Tbh I didn’t check before posting (i just saw it on 196 and cross posted it here) but now that you ask… I just checked, and yes it is a real tweet from an “Award-winning investigative journalist, author, TV analyst in Washington, DC” with 91k twitter followers. Not pictured here but captured on the wayback machine is that the OP was among the replies.
“Award winning journalist” doesn’t mean much when it’s a right wing think tank giving awards to people for repeating right wing propaganda…

Solid detective work, thank you!
Yeah, he’s pointing out what conservatives in the US don’t want to hear and can’t see for themselves; the consevative ideology is inconsistent with itself. Probably as a result of decades of being contrarian just for the sake of being contrarian.
But it isn’t inconsistent with itself, it is inconsistent with the silly adjective that they chose for themselves. They aren’t anti-abortion because they want to protect all lives, they are anti-abortion because it’s a way to exert control, specially over poor people. Which is the same reason behind all the other points in the tweet.
