Artecy freebies for October
This month we’ve got a colourful tree that I really like the look of (90 colours, but it just might be worth it!), and a quintessential Italian coastal town.

@thegiddystitcher @lemmy_stitch I really like the tree and I’m hoarding it for later, but I’m not sure how I feel about the fact that it was AI generated (the image, not the pattern). I had the same thoughts about the owl from the previous freebies. I know a lot of work is involved in making a pattern so that sparks an inner conflict.

@thegiddystitcher @lemmy_stitch Oh noo! I didn’t mean to spoil it. I’m still seriously considering making it myself. With 90 colours I’d probably cheap out on floss, using non-dmc brands.

Can’t decide how I feel about the AI thing, honestly. But it makes me a bit uncomfortable so I’ll sit with it and figure it out later 🤷♀️
