One would think that billionaires would want to avoid talking about whether preventable deaths should be considered a form of murder. Exploitation leads to a lot of preventable deaths. Tax avoidance leads to a lot of preventable deaths. The billionaires likely have the blood of millions on their hands.

Money and greed are their only motivations.

They didn’t get their money by being smart or clever, they got it through being born rich or doing unethical stuff.

Because they don’t need to, as long as we keep believing their nice promises without looking if their old promises have been kept.
