Former Vice President Mike Pence said Wednesday he “cannot defend what is alleged” in the most recent indictment against former President Donald Trump, a seemingly tougher stance than he had previously taken regarding the Justice Department’s decision to charge his former running mate.

    Going to be a really confusing and entertaining republican race. With a lot of the things going on it might be the downturn to that party in general. Sad though that Pence might be the most sane one in the mix so far? Never thought id say that… (also not republican myself)

      I think Pence is just looking out for his legacy and what history books will write about him. If he were really a man of integrity, he would have stood up against Trump during his presidency, not after he lost the election and tried a coup.
