    It could be as G!merbrained as seeing the winners writing the history as based because that just means the winningest winners deserved to win, every time. Secular Calvinist shit.

      Nah, I think that those two takes, like many others, just exist in separate, frictionless vacuums for libs; the metaphorical venn diagram has no overlap to them.

      History is written by the winners only applies to bad country, and Communism is bad because I was told that in school.

        I may have come up with a too-generous way for the libs to reconcile those contradictions. It’s probably easier for them that they don’t even notice the contradiction.
