Loving the app so far. Baconreader transplant from Reddit. Nothing will replace BR in my heart but this app is beautifully done and I appreciate getting to have such a solid start on Lemmy with it! Heres to hoping I’ll be using it as long as I used baconreader!

Just downloaded the app, and already like it a bunch! A few things I hope will be added:

    • When using amoled dark mode, you can’t see the divider between posts. Would be great if it was possible to choose a white divider instead of black
    • when scrolling up, you see the menu bar for selecting between all/subscribed/local, but not for sorting (new/hot/top etc.)
    • There seems to be no indication when you receive new replies?
    • would be nice if your own username was highlighted in the comment section, so you can find your own comments easier
    • if it’s possible, go directly to a comment/reply from your inbox.
    • maybe clicking the home icon while on the home page to go back to top
    • like someone else said, the add post button is a little big and distracting.

Again, great app! Hope to see it grow and evolve.

Is there a way to blur nsfw thumbnails?

I can on other Lemmy apps but I can’t find it in liftoff. Its kind of a dealbreaker for me to have them unblurred

Good job for implementing so many improvements in so little time. My favorite ones for this release are the single tap for comment collapse and the comments performance improvement. Keep up the good work

Love the app. Much better than Jerboa (that crashes) and Connect (ui feels off). Can we get a means of adjusting comment font size? Feels a little small and might be better for accessibility
