Oh no he had to hide his chain of Beverly Hills McMansions after getting criticized. billionaire-tears

It’s dehumanizing, creepy, and just exhaustively cringe when children get named after Le Epic Basic Algebra Concepts by the living gestalt amalgamation of “I FUCKING LOVE SCIENCE” Reddit techbros.

This is partially consigned to the dunk tank because the biography writer is absolutely terrible too, being sycophantic and incompetent while trying to villainize the wrong person.

    Grimes was outraged

What do these people think they are getting into when they let this guy into their lives?

How is any of this a surprise?

It is mistifying: “I can fix him/her” will never, ever end as a core belief among those who seek out total assholes as companions.

    yea

    Money.

    the-more-you-know

Well, so marry, enjoy the money and don’t complain then. very-intelligent

I’ve heard excerpts of this bio that sound so incredibly biased and also opposed to non-money-making people’s accounts of Musk’s character / genius. It’s like a fucking love letter to the richest man ever, it’s so weird.

The motivation could be as crude and pathetic as the motivation to wedge in a my-hero reference on Star Trek Discovery: the director wanted a free Tesla for the shout-out.

if I was in a situation to name a kid, I would pick something super common and gender neutral with a ton of nicknames so they could go whatever way and stand out or blend in as much as they wanted. and really, the names we give others at birth are just place holders anyway for whatever personality and community driven names people pick up along the way.

take me, for example. my name is Mexico, but people call me Double Down. not really, but that would be awesome.

That’s why King Bazinga didn’t do that. He sees his children as tally marks on a scoreboard and as a reflection of whatever sad facades he wants to put up for praise and validation.
