TL:TR footage from CDPR, basegame gets better does not change massively, spythriller, lots of Keanu
I’ll definitely be waiting for release reviews on this before buying it. The game really felt to me like it had a definitive ending so going back to before that ending is going to feel weird.
Is it not going to require a replay of the main game to access the new content? I was assuming it would.
If they’ve beefed up the interactions with the police and gangs, I don’t mind replaying the main missions. There was so much potential for cool interactions with gangs, the police and maxtac that on release just boiled down to 1 cutscene, some firefights on the map where gangs and police forever miss eachother, and police spawning 2 ft. behind you when you pick up wanted-starts.
I assumed not. I imagine you can pick it up before you meet hanako at embers

Likewise. I put it off for weeks to get more side missions done. I only went in when I finally felt like I was ready to finish the game.
Seems like they reworked how perks and skills work, armor is being moved from clothing to cybernetics (which now can cause cyberpsychosis if you have too much, and their efficiency is linked to attributes)… and this is just off the top of my head.
If the game really changes this drastically I have a feeling you’ll want to start a new playthrough anyway.
