“Sometimes, even WE don’t know how people manage these incredible things… #WorldBollardAssociation”

A red hatchback vehicle is seen from behind, with the hatch open, and a concrete-filled yellow bollard is sticking up through the trunk, which the vehicle has somehow parked on top of.

    Easy.

You can see the yellow scuff mark off to the side.

The car was reversing ridiculously fast, and is a lightweight hatchback. There may have been a little flex on the bollard, even if it’s concrete filled, it’s pretty narrow. But it looks more like it was just anchored in asphalt and not a concrete footer, so more likely the bollard moved than flexed.

So it hit on the scuff, pushed the bollard a little and popped the bumper over it.

When it got past the bumper, it went right thru an empty spot on the frame and thru the floorboard.

Probably one of those things where the gas pedal is floored accidentally.

The bollard did it’s job perfectly, if not ideally for the car owner.
