Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis suffered a string of defeats in school board races in several counties on Tuesday.
The Republican governor, who has sought to reshape his state’s education system by regulating how schools deal with subjects such as race, sexual orientation and gender, threw his support behind 23 school board candidates last month.
A majority of those candidates lost their races on Tuesday.
…
“People want sanity. People want common sense. And people believe we should educate everyone,” Long told The Associated Press. “The people have spoken.”
I hope he trips and stubbed his toe hard on a coffee table every morning when he wakes up. May he suffer as he makes other suffer, stepping on lego pieces.
May others show him each day the same compassion he has shown for others.
And hopefully while stubbing his toe he manages to bruise and deform all his fancy boots.
I hope he stubs his toe after he accidentally cuts his toenails too short… Painfully too short, to the point of bleeding, and he also sprouts a new hemorrhoid because of eating too much pudding with his fingers and not getting enough fiber. Also, maybe a paper cut.
paper cut on the corners of his mouth…and the under his nose, and op of his ear, and between his toes, and the ol taint!
I will allow it.
DeSantis candidates still had 6 wins, 3 of which face runoffs. Florididians please vote for a good education for your children and your neighbors children. Political stunts do not belong in school

It’s almost like the people he’s governing don’t like those policies.
Couldn’t happen to a better guy.
Literally everything that occurs ever happens to a better guy.
Even things that happen to Trump?
They take turns.
What? Some of them actually made it in? SMH Florida…

Wikipedia about this sourceOk so that’s a little bit of his agenda that won’t be implemented this time but why are 23 local school board elections national news?
Because a GOP Presidental candidate who is also a governor for one of our most populous states made school board elections a nation issue while he has the nations eye.
Following up on national issues is a reasonable press stance.
You know exactly why. Because Ron and his high heels have made public schools a hot topic. The headline might as well read “Cretin who is obsessed with children’s genitals has been rejected over and over again.”
