Beans are good. I’m from Texas and there are a lot of people here who think chili with beans isn’t real chili. They’re full of shit (beans’d help with that too)

My SO hated me eating beans until I discovered that walmart sells a generic bean-o for far less than the name brand. Your loved ones dont have to suffer that fate

It’s a pill that has an enzyme in it that breaks down the complex carbs in beans and veggies so that you can fully digest them without getting the farts.

There is an actual study disproving that myth (that beans increase flatulence).

The issue is that so few are used to actually eating enough fiber, that they might have a temporary increase in gas when they introduce more for the first time.

Tell them how they can blow up balloons if they fart into it the correct way. That changed my fiancés mind and now she can’t stop farting. She wears roller blades a lot more now.

I’m definitely one of the most picky eaters you’d ever met. I dislike it, primarily due of the texture. Having said that, I do enjoy hummus, if that counts.

Soaked overnight and cooked the next afternoon while I’m finishing up work, since the texture of canned beans weirds me out a little. My favorite bean dish, which I just had tonight, is black beans + rice + onions + worcestershire sauce. During the cool seasons I make a lot of bean soups in the slow cooker, but currently it’s “hoard the parmesan rinds in the freezer until it’s soup season” season.

If they are dried, soak it overnight and cook in on a preassure cooker. if they are fresh its easier to cook.

Lentils/split peas are super easy (and less flatulent!). 1 part lentils, 3-4 parts water or vegetable broth, simmer for 15-30 minutes (less for red lentils, more for split peas). Season to taste with salt/pepper, hot sauce, curry, or whatever else. Or saute up some onions and/or mushrooms in the pot first and then toss in the lentils and broth. Or shred in some kale/swisschard/cabbage/lettuce and eat beans & greens.

BBQ Sauce, Ground Beef and Beans into the pressure cooker and boom, you got delicious meal ready. Add some high power spices to it like Carolina Reaper, Pepper X, Ghost Pepper, or whatever to suit your tastes and you got some helluva spicy beans to enjoy. It’s some of the best food ever.

I eat it along with some garlic buttered toasts and some vegetables like corns, green peas, and so forth. The best thing about this cuisine is that it’s as simple as you want it to be and it can be as complex as you wanted it to be as well.

I eat them multiple times a day. I have absolutely zero problems with gas.

Once your gut bacteria gets used to having fiber, it’s all good 👌
