        Also I rang up United Energy and went through the automated machine and they said my area is suffering from a “Dim Light” issue.

        I guess that sort of covers my problem even if it’s just me experiencing it and not my neighbours.

          I suspect that you might be in a dual feed area. One of them is up, but if it could service you fully, well you wouldn’t be getting supplemented by the one that’s down then, wouldja.

                    Sounds more like that might get your power back up as opposed to solving my problem.

                    The outage map that covers my area doesn’t so as far as the food works.
