Not sure when, fairly recently I think, but they lifted the ban on us Brits donating blood. It’s the right thing to do, but it will help me as well as I have too much iron in my blood. I just reminded Mrs_Owl that I’m going in on Tuesday…and she reminded me that it’s Halloween and now I really want the staff to be dressed up as vampires!

Can confirm. Not a Brit but I lived there 88-92 in the hey day of mad cow… Can finally donate.
