Just told my manager that I’m unhappy in my role and will be looking for another job. He took it well, said he’s happy to be a reference for me and willing to work on a good timeline with me. Really appreciate that. I’m sure HR will have other feelings, but I understand that!
He’s very open about a lot of things, which I really appreciate it. While he’s not at all blind to the issues, he’s happy to stay on the ride, so to speak.
